HYROX Weights Standards, by Division

Every loaded station, every division, one table. This is the reference we build RoxDuo's training targets from — bookmark it, and check it against the official rulebook before race week.

Standards from public 2025/26 season rules — verify with the official rulebook.

Distances for every discipline

Three stations plus the run carry no weight standard at all — the same for everyone in every division:

How Pro differs from Open

Pro is not a different course — it is the same 8 runs and 8 stations with heavier loads on the five loaded stations. The three machine/bodyweight stations and all running are identical. What changes in practice:

Doubles: same loads, shared work

The single most misunderstood fact in HYROX: Doubles does not use lighter weights. Open Doubles moves Open loads; Pro Doubles moves Pro loads. The relief is structural — one partner works while the other rests, and only the running (8×1km) is done by both. How to actually divide that work is a strategy question, covered in depth in the doubles guide.

Standards are more than weights

Judges enforce movement standards, and no-reps are where naive race plans die: wall balls must hit the target with hip-crease-below-knee depth on the squat, lunges require the trailing knee to touch the floor, burpee broad jumps have chest-to-ground and take-off-line rules. Technique and standards for each station are broken down on the station pages — read the one you are weakest on first.

Train to these numbers

RoxDuo bakes these division standards into every plan — your sled sessions, carries, and wall ball volume are prescribed at your division's loads, and your station PBs are tracked against them. Built by Filippo Terzi, an athlete training for HYROX Rome 2026 on his own app.

FAQ

What weight is the HYROX sled push?

Open division: 152kg for men and 102kg for women. Pro division: 202kg for men and 152kg for women, pushed over 50m (4×12.5m).

What weight are HYROX wall balls?

Men: 6kg → 3.0m in Open, 9kg → 3.0m in Pro. Women: 4kg → 2.7m in Open, 6kg → 2.7m in Pro. Volume is 100 reps (75 for women).

Are HYROX Doubles weights lighter than solo?

No. Doubles uses exactly the same loads as the corresponding solo division. The station work is shared between partners, not lightened.

How much heavier is Pro than Open?

Sled push rises from 152kg to 202kg (men), farmers carry from 2×24kg to 2×32kg, sandbag lunges from 20kg to 30kg, and the wall ball from 6kg to 9kg. Distances and reps stay identical.

Which HYROX stations have no weight standard?

SkiErg (1000m), Rowing (1000m), and Burpee Broad Jumps (80m) are machine or bodyweight stations — identical across Open and Pro. Only the pace expectations change.

Are HYROX weights different for age groups or masters?

No. Station loads are set by division, not by age: everyone in Open moves Open weights (152kg sled push for men, 102kg for women) whether they are 25 or 65. Masters and age-group categories exist in the results and rankings — you are placed against your own age bracket — but they change nothing on the course. Doubles and Relay loads likewise differ by division, never by age.
